Some of the regulars and others decided to help Idlesaver by going onto the drivel to talk drivel (for those who haven't read it, it really is a loada drivel:o) and other non coupon stuff like comps and freebies.

Went to Tesco yesterday and was fully expecting a good trouting using my Boots conditional spend. Had my customer service letter ready because I just knew there would be problems. SA called the supervisor who said they couldn't accept it. I stood my ground and told them that I had used one before and that Boots was on the list of competitor stores. Then I was told they don't accept product specific ones. This was £5 off a £20 shop so I then had to get some vouchers out of my purse and actually show them what a product specific voucher was Nightmare! Anyway - it took 5/10 minutes but I got there in the end so don't give in guys!! I've got 3 more to use over the next month :eek: Might have to try another store...

Hi cpoir hope you don't mind me asking but did you buy just groceries or did you buy stuff like toiletries and baby things. The reason I ask is I tried to use one last weekend and it wouldn't scan. Took it cs and she said because I hadn't bought baby items I couldn't use it
