Hi, I'm still up to page 84 :o im catching up and thanking people eventually. Last week i went to asda, and i found a scrumpled up receipt in the store, so it was my birthday, and i was extra excited, sad i know, but it was the first one i'd found :D

It didn't have enough items on though. :(

Anyway so today i went again, and while leaving they had a rubbish bag, a see through one, and it was full with scrumpled up reciepts!.

Obviously the scrumpled ones are the ones that have been checked over  No doubt now i have posted here, someone will now fold them all nicely, so it doesnt look like its been checked over!. It's kinda deflating isn't it, theres no point in wombling around now :undecided

So i guess thats my first and last wombled receipt for me. :(

    Good evening
A quick question, I printed some vouchers off supersavvyme this evening and did the coupon didn't print, print again trick to get two of each but have now noticed that they have the same barcode. Can I still use both? Would I be safer using them in separate transactions?
    Thanks
I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly :D

The "normal" barcode (bottom left) will be the same but the long skinny (top right) one should be different.

We're sorry, the coupon offer that you requested has ended and we cannot give out any more coupons.

Each individual coupon should have 2 separate barcodes printed on it. One of these barcodes tells the till how much money to deduct and this barcode will be the same on both your coupons. The other barcode on the coupon is longer in length and it is this barcode that has the unique number on each coupon. If this longer barcode was the same on each coupon the supermarket wouldn't be able to claim their money back on the second coupon and so shouldn't be used. Please check your coupons again and compare both barcodes. I've never had any problems when I press the back button or coupon didn't print and have always received unique codes.

Someone on here did an excellent explanation several months ago of how to read barcodes. I've probably waffled on a bit and made it sound confusing.

Just realised that I spent so long typing this, that Munchkinz has responded in a single line answer. I knew I was rambling on too much.

    Hello lovely MSErs :)

Please can you give me some confidence as I've been printing coupons all evening and I'm feeling a bit nervous about going to Mr Ts tomorrow (haven't felt like this since DTD days!)

    I have as follows:
    £7 wys £50 till spit
£5 off wys £30 (from Boots)
    2x rice fusions
    1x spam
    2x lenor
    1x always
    1x philly
    1x seabrooks
a few other (under £1 total) misc vouchers in my purse

I am quite excited by the prospect of getting so much stuff for so little money but a little concerned I'm going to get trouted....

Do you think I'll be ok?

You will be absolutely fine. So long as they are all in date and you have the product you have no problems.
If the SA starts getting ar*ey just tell her that jealousy will get her nowhere and if she goes onto MSE she can print them off for herself!!
Hold your head up high and go girl(sorry to presume you are a girl!!)

I have never and tbh never would use a boots coupon, but plenty have. I would think that would be your main problem though as I can't understand why Tesco accept them, so I think it would be even more difficult for Tesco staff to understand.

Check any leaflets you get through the post. I got the usual weekly A4 lot and when I picked them up a small concertina leaflet fell out with 6 weeks worth of cond spends for M&S £4 off £20. It does say in the terms to be used at my local store, so it may be just my area. Guess who's going coupon hunting in M&S tomorrow:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I noticed when I got my latest Boot's mailing that it says 400 points WYS £40 rather than the usual £4 off.
