Morning all. I think my clubcard has been 'tagged' by T's as a heavy moc user..... Yesterday I used the self checkout to get a few things, including a Little Swimmers single pack and used the £2 moc. Put the moc through first, no problem, and then scanned my clubcard. I had to go back in again a few hours later grrrr as I'd forgotten mushrooms! So thought I would do the same again, but this time I scanned my clubcard first. When I scanned my moc it alerted the CS and wouldn't let me progress. Needless to say she spotted the price difference so I didn't bother using the £2 moc, will keep it for another day!
Something worth thinking about if anyone is wanting to use the self checkouts.

Hubby bought a Tesco £10 meal deal the other night, i, as usual, price checked the receipt and got £4.51 (approx) back as the wine (Isla Negra cabernet sauvignon) was £4.48 in Asda and showing as £8.99 on the Tesco receipt.
I tried to recreate this yesterday but totaly messed up the receipt, should have put the meal deals through seperately! so Tesco didn't compare it..:mad:

I think it's another glitch....don't shoot me if it doesn't work for you!!

I went in to try this earlier but the wine in question wasn't part of the meal deal, the SA confirmed this too

moc related ...but mainly drivel...so posted there as well

Back from double supermarket shop..used £6.76 of mocs at Sainsburys and then SA scanned the Fairy moc and then noticed had wrong size, and handed it back to me...doh!! then gave her my £4 Pinecone mocs...she struggled trying to take my £5 pre paid card...so gave up on that...then the till spit machine jammed...I was not pleased as I could just about make out it was a £4 off £50...called supervisor who said there was nothing they could do ...yes there was I said, call the manager please.....he was over by customer services, went there and asked him to kindly give me a moc for the £4 moc that was all churned up...which he did...went to car and sat and checked receipt.....dozy SA had deleted all the mocs except my Pinecones when she deleted the Fairy moc...went back in and got £6.76....then went to T's....used £5 of mocs from yesterdays Sun..2 x £1 coke zeros and 2 x £1 cheese and £1 off £5 fresh fruit...used 2 x £1 Dove mocs ,to get 2 deodorants for 10p...and 2 x 50p Clover on offer in T's (2 for £3), used my £5 card from the Mail and the £5 pre paid card....till gave me a few till spits incl the £5 off £50 electricals and 40p off Anglers Mail( at last a useful moc)had to go to CS toget the £2 for the Coop cond spend moc....which she was trying so hard not to take...until I asked her to phone the 0800 number...she decided to call the cash office who instructed her to take it...result!!! Have used all my Coop cond spends at that store now, and this was the first time I had trouble......
Got my 10p a litre off fuel at Sainsburys too .....

I guess I am one of the lucky ones. However the website is overloaded and when you try to claim them it says 'Sorry this service is extremely busy please try again later!'
So I'll not be putting the flags out just yet....;)

Yes, I was lucky enough to get an email which has a specific code which you need to register on their site - and guess what? Can't get on to the site - probably the other 9,999 lucky ones are all trying to register at the same time!!
