    Hi

I carefully shopped at tesco today to create a trolley at a cost of £70
I tried to use 4 x conditional spend MOC all from sainsburys
I was told I can only use one is this correct or was I trouted????
    Many thanks

PS all were within the conditional spend amount i.e £6 of £60

I think officially you should spend the aggregate amounts so if you had a £6 off £60 and spent £70 then you could only additionally use a say £2 off £10 however it could officially be just one CS per transaction, I don't think 'WE' officially know??. Some branches only allow one CS per transaction regardless, some however will take several, unfortunately its down to luck of the draw and I suspect how much abuse that store has had leading to the manager 'clamping down' or possibly how well trained the SA is....

I think the way to look at it is they will let you use one no question, more is purely down to luck! Keep trying, some you win some you don't but at least you didn't lose because no other supermarket other than the issuing one would accept it anyway so don't see it as a loss just see it as an extra bonus when you get them all accepted

Hope to update on this policy soon. I had an e-mail last year from Head Office confirming that more than one conditional spend could be used in a transaction (subject to correct amount spent ie 2 x £5 off £40, total spend should be £80 or more) and that training would be carried out in the stores that I had complained about.
I recently had my 2 conditional spend vouchers refused in one of these stores again and Head Office are currently investigating the matter for me. So much for re-training!!!!! Same old Tesco

It is in the freezer section but not all stores stock it:(

Think Tescos are starting to get the Rice Infusions in now - mine didn't have them last week but I found some today :p

Had a good shop tonight - £21 down to £7 using Boots CS, Spam, Huggies, Hipp vouchers etc... Once again my Boots voucher was initially refused but when I mentioned the store managers name and the fact that he was aware of the policy (following my email to customer service) they quickly changed their mind and accepted it no problems :D

  • Just printed off Fairy W up liquid from super savy me site
2 tesco and 2 for Sainsburys.
As Tesco has the offer on just wondered can I use the Sainsbury supper savy coupons at Tesco ?
Does this come under the conditional spend or are they taking these coupons at T when you buy the product even though it says S on them ?

    Thanks for any help

My T.com (If you are registered I think it shows you what is stocked at your local [Delivering] branch of T's) did not show the fusions in stock and indeed they were not in store last Sunday. It did however show them as stocked on Tuesday and sure enough there they were in my local branch so I think the T.com is fairly accurate....Assuming you know that you are actually in the store that would deliver to you IYSWIM:o

Sorry but as far as I know the store specific moc's can only be used in the store they are intended for.....I don't think T have started taking other stores product specific mocs [We wish!!;)]

OH got a Boots CS the other day but it is £5 off £30 on personal electrical items :o:D is this the sort of thing that peeps are successfully using or are they CS's for toiletries etc which are easier to 'hide' in a normal type shop??
