OMG just watching Kirsty now. She can barely string a coherent sentence together.
Umh Umh Umh buy a house so you can save Umh Umh Umh buy a house so you can pay for care when you are old
She is pitiful0 -
The economist chap, if that's what he is, isn't up to much either. His outfit is shocking, and he doesn't seem to actually know why he's there, or what his argument is. Surely they could have found someone with a bit more stage presence.0

This is pretty lightweight stuff. I'd rather listen to hamish and geneer insulting each other.0

Kirsty thinks snogging in cars in the woods is bad
What clap trap!
I've had some of my best romantic moments in cars in the woods.0 -
Bit of a let down, you would of thought that they would mention the reason people are renting is because house prices are too high.
Not because people should be snogging in woods.:undecided:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

It was a poor debate. I do love the concept of Kirsty Allsop lecturing people on making sacrifices though. She also hardly paints a glorious picture of life- you should spend your youth living miserably with your parents so you can have somewhere to live when you're 60. Joy.0

My apologise Krusty ate the economist during the China segment, so they replaced him Doctor Who.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

Kirsty thinks snogging in cars in the woods is bad.....
That was not how I understood it.
I think she was advocating that this is what you do with your girlfriend when you're both living at home and saving up for the deposit. Far better than renting she thinks.....
Unless she was talking about just the girl doing it with.... er.... acquaintances... to earn extra money for the deposit.
To be frank, I don't know what point she was trying to make. The woman's a bit of a light-weight in some respects [but not in others!]0
