Unsecuredloancompany.net - A warning from a customer
Hi all,
In the interest of sharing and hopefully helping others to avoid this company I thought I would share my experiences with Unsecuredloancompany.net
A lady called Colleene from the company contacted me on Friday 13th May (unlucky for me!) and offered me a £10,000 loan over 5 years at repayments of £233 a month.
I took them off on their offer and paid a £55 brokerage fee (lesson has been learned before you start) and was advised the funds would be in my account within 3 to 5 days.
To date, 31st May, no loan has been provided, I have been flooded with multiple offers for loans of small amounts, such as £500, £3000, etc, from other companies at disgustingly high interest rates, and they are refusing to refund my full £55 brokerage fee, despite the fact two different people from their company stated I would qualify for a full refund providing I did not take up a loan with one of their lenders.
They have agreed to refund me £28 after much backwards and forward, threats from the OFT, etc, which I have accepted to just get rid of them!

Loan 'brokers' such as these and other main offenders, like Wentworth Direct Finance, source your details from mailing lists and offer unrealists loan terms to entice you to part with a 'brokerage fee' knowing full well they will never be able to match you the terms they initially quoted or the amount you wish to borrow
They are preying on those in financial difficulty or those with previous bad credit history, like me, and will continue to thrive unless they are exposed.
Hope it helps!

Preaching to the converted on here. We just need a mechanism of warning people BEFORE falling for it.
Not many come on here and ask the question until they have already been stung.0 -
Shame - wish I had checked before proceeding.
Lesson definitly learned - NEVER. AGAIN.0
