I have TONS of lovely clothes (brought in my pre-MSE days!!) that I dont quite fit into now, I really dont want to ebay/car boot them as I have lost a little weight and am on a mission to get back into them now!! (bad timing with Xmas just round the corner!!). Can anyone suggest the best and cheapest way to store them in my loft. I have double bagged them in bin liners at the moment - will they be ok? I am hoping they wont have to be up there too long!!
thanks

We've got loads of clothes stored in the loft,we bought those giant check bags form the bits and bobs shop about £1.25 each, the same ones you see being used instead of suitcases in places like Algeria and Morocco
We have had clothes up there for the past year and they are fine,a bit musty but nothing a good wash wouldn't sort out
Just a warning, mind the mice  they love lofts and would love to chew into bin liners and nest in clothes
LIHDebt at highest £102k

I've lost 90lb in the last 22 months and am loath to throw anything out 'just in case', so all my clothes are in those zipped hanging clothes bags. OH has put a mobile clothes rack up in the loft and they are hanging there. (I've thrown the biggest sizes away because I hope never to be that size again :rolleyes:0

Mine are packed in suitcases in the loft. Each case for every size as I try to slim. Not very likely tho- mine will never fit again. The best idea is to keep the item you really want to fit into on a hanger in your bedroom where you will see it all the time.Works as good as a fat photo on the fridge door. I am going to sort thro them in the new year and the local charity shops can have a sale.hehe:rotfl:0

How about those vacuum seal bags, woolies have them below which are water proof so even if you have a leak it shouldn't matter.

Weightwatchers Looploulou. First 12 months were quite easy but this year I've probably only lost about 20lb. Mainly because I changed my job middle of the year and think I got out of my eating regularly routine. Still need to lose about another 10 - 12lb. I was a size 24 now 14 (can't ever remember being a size 14 - think I went from age 13 to size 16 overnight)
