I checked my online bank today and have had a payment of £14.50 taken from Hachette Filipacchi for the Psychologies subscription via the Magazine Group when it should only have been £1.
I originally signed up for the 6 issues for £1 and £14.50 if you want to carry it on.
They are aware of this so they say but I don't know if they are doing automatic refunds or not.
I phoned 01858 438853 option 2 and asked to speak to Tina broon or broom? as she is dealing with this, she has refunded the £14.50 back to my account hopefully and then amending the direct debit back to the £1 for 6 issues.
I would definitely check your direct debits just in case they have made a mistake with yours also.

Thanks for this. I have been charged £14.50 also. I did notice when my confirmation came through the post that it was for £14.50 but I just assumed they would only take £1 for the first payment.
I have just asked my bank to cancel the DD and they will refund my £14.50 today as I cant be bothered phoning the magazine company for a refund.
