Bought the biscuits yesterday (custard creams) for dd she loved them:beer:pasta twists now 18p in my local Morrisons, couldnt find the value wipes to try out:( stock levels were bad yesterday does anyone else find this with Morrisons it can be very hit and miss?

We seem to have that problem in our local (Derby) store. It always seems to be the bread thats out of stock too! you go in there and its like there's a national wheat shortage or something!

I know the biscuits have been suggested but the Ginger Nuts deserve a special mention!

We also buy the value flour, butter for baking, mushy peas and fresh carrots when they have them.

i agree the value orange juice in the big carton (like a 4 pint milk carton) is very nice and also the value pittas for 19p which i have with the eatwell humous £1 for a large pot
also the value kitchen roll is good, cant remember how much it might have been 74p for 3 rolls but all the rolls are quite big and paper is quite thick

I don't like the value rice pudding, got a funny aftertaste, or their baked beans. Tinned tomatoes/kidney beans are nice, and their jars of sauce - the vegetable sauce for bolognaise, and their low cal chicken korma is nice, oh, and their sweet and sour is nice as well.

It depends on what they order in. My OH is a nights duty manager for one of the stores and one night he'll be overloaded with delivery and have lots of excess and then another night someone will have under ordered and he'll hardly have anything in.

So it's a staff thing (either genuninely making mistakes or being lazy).

Drives me mad too when I go in to pick up some things :rotfl:

my daughter brought home their value cornflour, hooge box like washing powder size
it didnt do anything, it was "just powder":(
  • Everyone seems to love the Value baby wipes - I see people putting 12+ packs into their trollies! Also have never tried them but the value plum tomatoes are one of the biggest selling value lines if that stands for anything!
