ESA,
most of us here have probably thought about ending it all because of their financial situation and we're all still here.
Think of how strong you have been, you have stood up to your family, gone your own way and having friends in that situation too I know how stressful that can be. You are so strong, you may not feel it right now but you are.
You have made the first move, you have taken your head out of the sand and stood up to what you owe. I don't have a lot of advice to give but I know there are brilliant people on here that will support you because they have been through it all themselves.
You will get through it, I promise. xLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -

ESA I have just seen your topic and wanted to offer some support.
If you look at my signature I was in debts of around £45000 with nothing to show for it. I rent a room, I have no assets and at the same time my long term relationship broke down and I felt pretty much like you. Why not just end it all and be done with it.
Its not the answer and once you take a deep breath and start making a list of your debts and start tackling these with the help of one of teh charities such as CCCS, Payplan or CAB, you will feel a hell of a lot more positive. I know its hard to tell a stranger how badly in debt one is but strangely enough I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulder openeing up and starting to tackle it all.
Its now been nearly 2 years since I took this first scary step and with the support from here I have been able to pay off near enough £30K in that time and it felt good. I felt like having control again over my life which in turn meant I felt physically and emotionally 100% better.
Its scary, it isn't easy but it can be done and soon enough you will enjoy living your life again.
We are all here to help
