I want a data cable and software for a motorola W220,
searched google and ebay and only found one which has no software with it

Any ideas

If you have any local markets it may well be worth a try as our market has a few mobile phone stalls that sell data cables and chargers etc

The other thing you could do is try Motorola directly but they will probably charge you more for "official" data cables

Got Motorola Tools from Ebay http://search.ebay.co.uk/motorola-phone-tools_W0QQfromZR8QQssPageNameZRC0023.
Used data cable from digital camera & that worked, but cables available from Ebay

You say cables available from ebay do you happen to know which sort and is it a motorola w220 that you have,

Errm, how you going to plug it in? The W220 only has a port for the charger and one for the headset, nothing for cables, unless I'm missing something...

My Samsung D900 data cable plugs into the charger port, so I thought the motorola one may also do the same

But the Samsung charging port is different, the W220 is more like a conventional charging hole, I doubt it will work on a W220 but I'm not sure.
