We bought something from DFS and note from the latest statement there is still a few hundred outstanding. It does state on the letter if you require a settlement figure to phone them. However as this is interest free surely I only need pay off the amount still outstanding on statement or do they normally make a further charge for early settlement.

Åny help appreciated.

do they normally make a further charge for early settlement.

Yes, could try paying a lump sum of and then leaving enough for final DD to be taken to avoid early payment fee
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

The early settlement system is usually automated with them (at least it is with car loans) - they give you a settlement figure via their automated system and send you a letter to confirm.
