Toffee Vodka sounds Yummy....
we make our on Sloe Gin (sloes all gone now from the local woods:mad: )
we also make Fruit whisky Vodka and Gin
very simple to make
Get:
1 large kilner jar
1 bottle of Cheap Vodka or Gin or Whisky ( you dont notice its cheap
100g caster sugar (very important)
1 pack frozen whole fruit tesco do a range including summer fruits, blackberries and cherries (thaw and keep juice)
Coffee filter papers or muslin and sieve or jam/jelly sieve
Layer the fruit and the sugar into the large jar add the juice pour over the booze do the lid up tight and shake. pop in a dark cupboard and give it a quick shake every day for the first week then every few days for a month (ok you can try it after a week but its better after a month)
when time is up filter through the coffee papers/muslin sieve to get a clear and yummy drink. pop back in origional bottle or Ikea do nice ones with a top like a grolsh bottle for a £1
I refreeze the fruit and its lovely with icecream :-) you can also add it to more fruit to make a boozy compote :A
Enjoy
