Help! Worried about mortgage offer being withdrawn

I am currently about to buy my 1st house, and have a written mortgage offer. Later this week, I will be signing my contract.
I have just found out today that I missed a payment on my credit card, as I made it 2 days too early the previous month in error (therefore i made 2 payments in 1 month). I have rang the credit card company who have told me that they cannot prevent this from going on my credit report due to FSA rules.
I think I was fortunate to receive a mortgage offer and am now extremely worried that it is going to be withdrawn. It will be time to pay my deposit soon, and am concerned about losing this too.
From reading other posts, it is clear that offers can be withdrawn.
The missed payment is not yet on my credit report, and am wondering whether I should inform my solicitor/speak to the mortgage company and explain my error, or hope that everything goes through before it goes on my report! How long does it take for this missed payment to go on.
I would like some advice about the best thing to do so that my offer will still stand, I am absolutely gutted at the moment.
Thanks.

You are unlikely to have your offer withdrawn for such a reason. That is normally for a more serious issue. I can't think of a lender who will re-credit check you now, unless you asked for an increase or there was a problem with the valuation.I am a mortgage broker. Hi I wouldn't worry about a late payment. I have got a mortage three years ago despite being late on a few credit card payments and remortgaged successfully last month despite being late on another few. keep calm..... it will be ok...0
