This is Blatant SPAM by someone promoting their own access number for personal gain.
Martin MSE has a article on how to do it here with his recommended suppliers etc.

thanks bp10885.
remember read an article in the times on sunday many months ago, two uni students from london learned the ridiculous charges of international calls that international students had to pay just to call home, so they set up a company and bought minutes in bulk and resold them to other students on a much lower rate, and the company is doing well. got their website bookmarked but lost when reinstall the laptop. was it firstnumber.co.uk??
can't remember, but think both websites are offering the same thing, not bad if u r on a contract and need to call abroad, save a fortune.
the question is, what if i am on a uk contract and go abroad for a short trip and want to call back to the uk? is there any free service out there?0 -

Martin MSE tells you how to slash your roaming costs here.

I doubt it, but read the article above. I am sure that is classed as roaming, and chances are that you will incur roaming charges.
I am not too sure about the uni students, however I also remember reading something vaguely similar to this as well.Regards

if you are referring to firstnumber.co.uk, from my experience as an o2 contract user it is free, however it might be worth you making like a 30 second phone call to this number and see if it charges you for this. It does depend on what network you are on, and you can view all the details on the website.
Please note that if you do find this is a free service, it will consume your "free" minutes that your provider allows you.Regards
