ok i have a flat my only current place. its worth 130000-140000ish with a 86000 (maybe a little less) mortgage.

sometime i would like the idea of letting out and buying another place. that aside.

im thinking or fixing. i noticed you have to pay around 150 (maybe higher) for a re-revaluation and 199 fee to stick with same bank (natwest).

i look on comparison sites and that is seems good. the thing is spread over a two year fixed that's £14 a month. interest rates would have to rise by 1/2-1 percent surely to make it worth fixing.

im kinda thinking i just have to keep a close eye on interest rates in the news and fix as soon as you think you will benefit?

    I would think that when the rising interest rates hit the news this will have been priced into the fixed rate offers at that point in time. In other words it simply remains a gamble whatever you chose to do. The only thing you are sure about is that rates will go up at some point in the near future. The question is when...
