    1, Dont have to get buildings insurance yes you do. it is called rent.
    2, Dont have to pay to repair things like water leaks/the roof yes you do, it is called rent.
    3, If they build a nuclear power station next door you can just moveyou can move if you own your home
    4, if they build a land fill site next door you can just movesee above
    5, if the area turns into a ghetto with high crime you can just move see above
    6, You can search for work across a wider geographical areayou can sell and move or rent your house out to some mug.
    7, Your not tied down to a single location for 30 yearsyou can move
    8, you dont have to pay interest to a bank for 30 yearsyou just pay it to your landlord's bank instead
    9, If you neighbours are awful you can just moveyou can move anyway
    10, You dont have to worry about subsidence and other such issuesyou can get insurance. and your rent pays for your landlord's insurance
    11, You dont have to worry about the bank/government raising the interest rates you payyes you do, because if interest rates get higher, so does your rent to cover your landlord's interest
    12, You never have to go through the whole buying/selling process which is a nightmare and very expesnive this wrong, it is the moving that is stressful and renters will be doing that a lot more often than home owners

    13. when you retire and aren't earning enough to cover the rent anymore, you're f***ed
