Them's the ones! Ah, 'incinerators'! :j That's just the job. Probably why googling 'metal bin with chimney' didn't come up trumps, lol! I'm usually fairly articulate would you believe (ahem..), it's just this pregnancy business has sent my mind into outer space!

Our local DIY superstores are quite pants and don't seem to stock them, but having said that, we've got a Wickes now that I haven't tried.

I'm clueless about why men seem to like burning things so much - OH got a chimnea 3 years ago (tiny one) and he seems to have a crazed look in his eyes whenever it's lit, and he literally hoards wood to eventually burn.

Unforunately, it's too small for the wood he now has accumulated, hence him wanting the incinerator. Thanks for the tip re: the grass - we don't have any at the mo, but OH built a rockery style platform in the field at the back of our garden anyway 'to put out the deckchairs and drink wine in summer' (roughly translated as 'to stand something on which will burn my expansive wood collection...', lol!!!!)

Not sure how I'll wrap it up but thanks so much everyone, that's made my life a lot easier!!!
