Natwest Loan Application

Hi,
I applied for a Natwest personal loan on Friday online. I thought I would be able to sign online and receive the funds on the next working day but at the end of the application there was no mention of this and they said about sending the forms to me by post.

However, when I checked my online banking, the loan has already been added to my balance but is not yet available for me to withdraw.

Does this mean that my loan has in fact been processed online and I will not have to sign and return the papers?

I am going away just after the bank holiday and don't want this to drag on until I get back, so the couple of days difference between sorting this out by post or online is quite important to me.

I have read about the possibility of calling Natwest and asking them to deal with the loan paperlessly, but I am assuming that I might be too late for this.
Does anyone have any experience with this or can offer any advice?

Thanks for your help.

If you meet all their credit requirements, you're given a chance to sign online at the end of the app, I know I did.

If they have to do "further checks" they send you stuff through the post. The following is from the Natwest website.

"" This option is open to our existing NatWest online banking customers who enter their login details when applying for a personal loan online.
As you go through the online application, if you meet all of our credit requirements, have your loan application accepted and are eligible a screen will appear which will offer you the choice of completing your loan application online or via the usual paper-based route. If you choose to complete your loan application online then you will be shown your loan documentation and asked to sign your agreement electronically by checking a tick-box to confirm you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the agreement. Your application is then complete.

The next day money facility is available to those customers who apply between 6.30am and 5.55pm Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays). For customers who meet all of our credit requirements, have their loan application accepted, are eligible and choose to complete their loan documentation online, the loan funds will be available the next working day from 9.00am. Can you get to a Natwest branch?

If, so they can draw the loan down in branch too - just make sure you take in your debit card and and ID to avoid any possible problems.
Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p
