Cheque book not received.

Hi,

If i have not received my cheque book (which usually gets sent out automatically) do i need to cancel this at the bank, so that no one else can use the cheques? or does it not really matter and i can just happily plod along?

thanks.

It's best to let the bank know.
  • I've had cheque books arrive when I've almost run out before and other times they arrive when I've got loads left. Check with the bank that one has been sent first, it might not even be on it's way yet.

yep defo contact them to find out if it has been sent out,i too have at sometimes had up to 3 spare at one time as they kept sending them and others ive had to ring for a replacement one,its mad.though i always thought the computer automatically knew when you were down to last say 10 cheques then it would be issued
