Hugs to the poorlies (and poorly hubbies)
Busy day, only stopped to sit down when I ate and for BGT.
Eating my way into my huge list but I cant find it now as I have to get into bed as getting up at 5am to take DS to his new summer job. He has just got his car but has no idea where the place even is so would I take him on the first day - he must have caught me in a good mood! Hopefully I wont then go back to bed and can crack on, so see you all in the morningMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Washing Up: Am & PM
Make beds
Tidy Living Room
S&S Kitchen surfaces
One load of laundry washed, dried and PUT AWAY (the put away in caps as I have a habit of folding it up and leaving it dumped somewhere where it needs re-washing at some point!)
Hoover kitchen through living room
Change cat litter.
That's my bare minimum to keep the house functioning (in a fashion) only everything's so upside down right now I was wondering whether I needed to add more on a daily basis or keep to that plus the flylady....I'm rambling, ignore me!:rotfl:0 -
I think that's about it for most people.. some add s&s of the loo, pack ups, sort clothes for next day, feed pets.. it is all very personal really what is added to the dailies.
Mine is DW, WM, TD/laundry dried, animals fed and the pets, recycling/bins, .. anything else is a bonus!

Note to self - put petrol in the car BEFORE making the journey
I spent most of my evening sitting in the fast lane of one of the busiest A roads in south essex  A nice policeman managed to push me off the road after about 45 minutes - then the nice Green Flag man put some petrol in the carSOOooo embarrassing!! In my defence, the petrol light had come on whilst on country roads only about 10 miles previously and I was about 1/4 mile away from the petrol station!! And I should have had at least 30 miles in there
On the bright side, it was only lack of petrol, and nothing actually wrong with the car
The day started well, WM on early (all dry & folded now), DW, HHI (very rare occurance for me!!). My mum bought my cousins over (they are much younger than me (younger than my kids) as my uncle is on family no,2). I said I would take them home later (their Dad, my uncle, has been quite unwell recently) so I was happy to help out & keep them entertained. hence the car journey (see above!) Took them to the park with the dog.
While I was there I had a call to say that a friend took an overdose on Tuesday  She is 'ok' as they found her in time, but she is in hospital being assessed. This is not a great surprise (we knew she was depressed, and has said things to raise alarm bells) but still a shock. I will speak to her daughter tomorrow.
So i have not achieved as much as I had hoped today, and i am now working tomorrow (change of plan), so will have to see how i go. I plan to update lists tomorrow. Also planning to go strawberry picking :j
Goodnight, and I hope those that are feeling poorly feel better soon.
Hugs and spoons for thoses that need it0 -

Thanks for that! May I just hasten to add that I do feed the pets and child on a daily basis, I just don't need reminding so didn't stick it on the fridge!
I think S&S in the bathroom is a good idea, I could give it a quick wipe whilst Little Miss is in the bath in an evening, make my life easier on bathroom days, thanks for that!0 -
My dailies consist of removing vile things from the litter tray, and enabling the little &*&^%%& to produce further nasties by chucking crunchies or blobs of meat in their bowls, moaning at Minion for something she has broken/forgotten/not put away/dumped outside her room, slinging some bleach down the loos and remembering to take medication every evening like the doctor ordered me to.
Anything else is an achievement.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
