Hi LadyL - let me know when you're up for a meet-up, as I'm off for half term and would be nice to see you and your new home too.
Questions: Well I've compared insurance companies. Shiela's Wheels have come up nearly £30 cheaper and their excesses are lower, but I'm not allowed to drive Moon's car unless I'm a named driver on his policy! Strange clause that I've not come across anywhere else. Is it worth me changing company? Anyone had any experience with them? They are the same company as esure. Also, those of you who use cashback sites, which is the best one to use for this?
Just been out for a quick coffee with a friend, her husband and her little girl, and we went to the park. We timed it just right before the rain came down, and had some lovely sunshine.
Moon has just got home, so I'm going to ask him to sort out the garage again, as I went to put the sheets in the wash, and he's blocked the WM again with tool benches etc, and I've done something to my back (think I twisted strangely at Zumba on Sunday), so I wasn't about to go moving things around.
Going to try and get the resources done for Tuesday and Wednesday's maths lessons tonight, then I'll only have to do some for Thursday tomorrow, as Friday is resource-free.
Hugs to all who want or need them,

LameWolf - she's called Red (or Senior Dog), though there are a large number of Jerrys passing through the Springer rescue she and Junior Dog (aka Smokey) came from!
My dress is scheduled to list on eBay at 5 to 9, the shavings are in the stable, I've picked up a barrow load of manure off the 3rd field and got my neighbours' four horses in for them (they're in Inverness for the day). OH has had an amazingly productive day, he's chopped back all the reeds in the 2nd field, sprayed the whole thing with Spear (kills weeds, leaves grass alone - clever stuff!), sprayed the drive and mown the front and back lawns as well. He's now a crumpled heap on the sofaHopefully I can get the 1st field sprayed tomorrow and then fingers crossed in 2 weeks we'll have a dry spell and I can move Merlin and the sheep up and spray 3 and 4.

Well I put half the bedding in TD, ironed hubby's t shirt and finished dishes - I've come to the conclusion that I am a bit of a tortoise when it comes to cleaning! Sink is full of bleach now ready to shine
Have to try and get hold of someone a minute and I'm going to watch last night's BGT - cleaning will resume at some point later though

Ok, I've just sorted out the car insurance - I saved about £60 by adding Moon as a named driver to my existing policy, so protected my NCB at the same time, so shaved off £20 from my original renewal quote. Feel quite chuffed with that, as having read a few posts about Sheilas Wheels on the insurance board, I wasn't very confident about changing to them. I read that as you were going to eat the scone and then your socks :rotfl:
OH is quite impressed that I cleaned the inside of his car, he hasn't looked at it yet though. Just been frantically sorting my laptop as it wouldn't start up properly and it has all the wedding info saved on it. I think tonight's job will be to back it up! I may go and do our bedroom too, don't normally clean when OH is home but he is starting to realise quite how much I do to get the house sorted, if I start doing things in the evening he may feel compelled to helpMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
