I get thrush a lot and it costs me a fortune in canestan capsules etc.
I've now (very late!) cottoned onto the fact that it would be cheaper to buy the Fluconazole capsules online.
Chemists direct sell them for £1.99, but I've read a really worrying thread on here about their customer service; I then found pharmacy first which sells them for 18p but their reviews are terrible too!
Stumped.

Im like you and suffer thrush nearly consistently. Luckily here in NI we dont pay minor ailment treatment OTC.
However if you are needing more then two treatments in any six months you are advised to return to your GP for further treatment rather then to carry on self treating0 -
I'm on long term antibiotics unfortunately so have to grin and bear it, the doctor has never given me anything other than saying get canestan/differin, which i do find work quickly, also take acidopholis (sp) and swabs etc only show thrush.
Pffft, its a right pain0 -
I use Chemist Direct regularly and apart from the long delivery time I've never had a problem and I buy oral thrush treatment from them too and it works brilliantly, I've just had a look at the site as I haven't been on there for ages and the thrush treatment has gone up from 49pish to £1.99:eek: still great value but thats a huge jump good job I stockpiled;) I would suggest you keep on eye on the special offers if you need this regularly - hth:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
