i don't know if this subject as been raised on this site, but i have been looking through a few sites and the pay for some trials seems ok. it all sounds a bit victorian to me, the poor been used for medical research, but somebody as to do it.

Birmingham Uni medical school used to pay £2000 to cut your toe and sow it back on. I was a student there at the time and remember being tempted. But I decided it wasn't worth weeks of not being able to play football!0
