Tax refund scam email

I just received the following email informing me of a tax refund:

[FONT="]A tax refund of 1560.10 GBP .(Still Pending) Due to invalid account record we were unable to credit your account Please submit a verified tax refund request.[/FONT]

[FONT="] [/FONT][FONT="]A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Click the "Refund Me Now" link below and follow the on screen step in order to have us process your request.[/FONT]

The HMRC never send out emails - if people receive such emails they should delete them or youcan forward the email to phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk0

What the scammers do is make you put your bank details into their site, allegedly to refund your tax, but really its to wipe your account. They do it every year at this time.0
