Hya all...another spendy day as predicted.
Thanks again Spoon and SF for all your hard work on this thread....I'm happy to wait for July
Had a lovely meal out yesterday, but a bit sad saying goodbye to folk. We are already planning a xmas do, so it'll be good to catch up then.
Got my hair cut and highlighted this morning, and I appear to have acquired some red stripes (along with some blonde ones)! They were supposed to be a more coppery/blonde (I thought!), but I'm sure I'll get used to it!!! I had a couple of friends say that they liked my new look...so can't be that bad.
Got a delivery from Mr T today, so we are full and bursting at the seams with food, all ready for DS1 coming home from Uni tomorrow.
Have a great weekend, hoping to nab a couple of NSDs.

Going to try and keep track of my NSD's this month, after totally losing count since Mid-May
Going for my normal target of 12 please Spoon
Yesterday (1st) was a spend day - Direct Debits plus a few bits of groceries
And today (2nd) is also going to be a spend day!! Need new shoes for work (mine have split on one side, with the leather upper parting company from the sole - but the fabric 'liner' was still attached which means they've lasted this week for me.... just as well as I only discovered the split on Monday morning, typically after a week off work when I'd have time to look for replacements!!) I also need to pick up a few more bits of groceries, as my fella's coming over tonight and we agreed last night that I'll feed him - so I need a gammon joint (he's never tried it done in a slow cooker before) and some veg. But I'm going to see if I can get the new potatoes from the garden before I go shopping - just not holding my breath, 'cos thought the tops of the plants are now flopping they never actually floweredCheryl0 -

Hi everyone,
Beautiful day here today.
Been over to Co4stco with my Mum to pick up the food for her "do" later.
Thankfully it's warm and sunny so we should get out into the garden.
No NSD for me though as I had to buy more soup- cant bite into anything yet - some stuff for mouth ulcers:( and lovely strawberries which I'll have to dice very small:(
I also got some beautiful begonias to replace some plants which have been munched into oblivion by slugs:mad: I did get them on BOGOF so £3.99 for eight crackin' plants.
So although a spendy, I've been quite prudent
Have a lovely day everyone!

Afternoon everyone:j,
It's a lovely day in NI, but I've had another spend day as I had to buy liquid gold:eek:. I hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the sunshine. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
