i was in newcastle today buying a yummy panini and seen this comp advertised on their wall on a poster. just like the page and once they get to 100 they will give away an ipod (i dont have any further details as to what type of ipod etc) but if anyone wins who doesn't live in the newcastle area i would be willing to collect for u and send if postage is paid

Seems that most people from here will be disqualified. They're now saying on their facebook page

Oh my....nice little surprise when logging back on to Facebook after the weekend! But I suspect a little foul play of advertising on forums, meaning lots of people from all over UK have hit 'like' to try and get a free iPod instead of actual customers to the Baguette Express Eldon Square shop......How many people are actually from the Newcastle area or are customers at the shop??




The iPod giveaway is for residents in the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne & surrounding areas only. It was intended as an incentive for possible customers to join up and stay up to date with latest offers and promotions. So......make some noise our Newcastle customers?????


I've unliked. Think they set that comp up and have changed the rules as they've gone along

sorry peeps, well they definitely didn't state they wanted only people from newcastle on their page, nor did they state this in their shop either. i dont know if anything can be done about this? x

Wish something could because using the word foul in connection with forum members entering got my back up a bit lol Either that or everyone unliking them because they're gonna end up with very few if all the forum members and non newcastle peeps unlike.

Ok folks - raffle tickets for the free iPod giveaway will be available to collect in store from the middle of next week, but keep checking on here for the exact date. One ticket will be picked, and that lucky ticket holder will get the iPod
