Laptops 4 Cash ?

Hello everyone,
I was looking into giving an old laptop of mine to a recycling company that offers cash. Now i found quite a few and the best offer came from laptops4cash ltd. It all looks legit and trustworthy but I was just wondering if anyone knows them/had a problem from them? Alternatively, have you used any other similar company that offers cash in exchange for old laptops?

i 've already been given a quote which exceeds my expectations and other quotes so I was just wondering how legitimate they are. How can I protect myself from having my laptop nicked basically!

Are you familiar with other similar companies that are trusted?

looking at ebay I suspect they break them and sell the parts

they also seem to be a PC repair business so a good source of cheap parts for them

After reading the original post as I'm in a similar situation I've just submitted an online form to get a quote for selling my old laptop with laptops4cash - can anyone report their own success selling through this company please? I also have a printer I need to flog (seriously skint & jobless for a couple of months now...) - can anyone recommend where/how I could do this & get the best deal please?

I've sent my laptop to buymylaptop.co.uk a couple of weeks ago......still waiting for the money.

Anyone had any dealings with them?.....Are they legit?.......Or have I lost the laptop?

both i and my husband sold laptops using sell-your-laptop.co.uk

i sold mine last year and was paid no problems, my husband sold his last week and was paid this week.

we had no problems, and were happy with the price - in both cases the prices paid to us were the prices that we were paid were the prices we were quoted on the website.

It's now 1 month.......despite numerous phone calls......and a 'supposed' cheque sent out to me over a week ago (got lost in the post,) I'm still waiting.........

Has anyone used them?.....good or bad?

......or any advice??
