Question about ticket win

Hi,
I recently won Take That tickets and I was wondering what normally happens when you win tickets, are they posted out to you or do you have to collect them at the gig?
Im still waiting to hear more about my tickets at the moment but just thought I'd ask.

Sometimes you collect them on the night at the venue and sometimes they are posted to you often by special delivery.

Well done on your win. To answer your question I have won quite a few tickets and some have been sent while others have had to be collected on the day. I have wondered if its to try and stop you selling them on for sold out events.

Last year I won tickets for Pendulum which I gave to my son and his friend, I had to go with them and collect the tickets half an hour before the gig, they were given tickets and had their hands stamped to use them. It was a sell out and there were touts outside. Last week I won tickets for the Monkees at the same venue, no sell out and they were sent in the post special delivery.

I was exremely lucky and won tickets for the UEFA champions league final last night, DH and a friend went. They had to send copies of their passports and take them as identification to a bar where they all met yesterday afternoon. He's still not back yet but apparently tickets were given out at the last minute and they were taken to Wembley in a private train, very high security and no chance to sell them. Apparently they had an amazing time.

I haven't won tickets to a concert (yet ) but have won some to see wrestling and cricket. The wrestling ones arrived on the saturday by recorded delivery (it was on tues) and the cricket ones I had to pick up from the venue before it started. But both had a face value of 0, so couldn't sell them if I wanted to, which I didn't anyways

My sister & her OH had a great time at wrestling, and my brother & dad had a great time at cricket

Well done on your win. When I won tickets to the f1 they posted them out last minute by special delivery. When I won tickets to the circus and motorcycle trials at sheffield arena they were just sent by normal post. The only tickets I've had to take i.d and pick up were for the sheffield wednesday matches.

I won hospitality tickets to Liverpool FC last month, they came 2 days before the match, we didn't need ID on arrival just said our names and they crossed us off their list...wouldn't have sold them for the world even if I could.

When I won tickets to see Mr Hudson, my name was put on a guest list and I just had to go in and tell them my name (which was a right pain because I hadn't actually been put on the guest list but they ended up letting me in anyway.)
I won VIP tickets to BRMB Live and for that one I had to collect them but again, my name was on a 'guest list.'
When I won NeYo tickets, they posted them out


I think it just depends on the concert/venue and that kind of thing but well done on your win!

i won football tickets they came through the post but like someone has already said they had a face value of £00.00 printed on them x well done on your win

o2 tickets I have won have always been collect at box office with id. Todays tickets to the food show at Hampton Court said collect with id but we were waved straight in just showing the photocopy.
