Re-pay Mortgage or Not

Hi My question is I'm retired, should I pay off the last £20k of my mortgage or use the money to fund my retirement and re-mortgage at interest only. Is it possible to keep re-mortgaging at interest only and let the money be taken from the sale of my property after I die. Would it be possible to do this and does anyone think its unwise.
Many Thanks

What rate are you paying on the mortgage?0

Personally I wouldnt do it, as you are effectively leaving the mess of selling the house to repay your debts to someone else when you die.
I am sure you can however.0 -
