Flower delivery over the bank holiday?

Hi all.
My lovely, if somewhat dopey, OH has just told me that MIL2B has been for a scheduled op. today, and will be out of hospital on Monday. I'd really like to send her some flowers, but I'm not local so I'd need a delivery service to deliver on Monday. Has anybody any recommendations? Also, I'm a student so value for money is always appreciated
TIA x

It may be a bit late since Monday's a bank holiday. The problem with florists is that their stock needs to be freshly bought.
Normally I would suggest that you google florists in the area and put in an order over the phone (that's pretty much what Interflora does, so you save their charges), but I reckon that you are out of luck, time-wise. The only suggestion I have - are there other members of the family nearby? If yes, could you make an arrangement with them? Saying that, they still might not be able to source cut flowers... a fruit basket might work though.0 -
