Help..Remortgaged recently , now moving house

Options
Hi we remortgaged 6 months ago, we did this as we needed a deposit for a BTL mortgage. We fixed our mortgage for 2 years at 4.5%, with £999 fees, We chose the product as at the back of our mind we thought we may move house soon, this product has not ERC.

Now i dont know what to do, do i try and port this mortgage, or shop around again and look for a better rate, We will be borrowing 45k more than my current mortgage, and we are as always looking for the best overall package. I am tempted by HSBC.

Thanks:D

It's going to be a question of affordability. Some lenders will take the BTL mortgage cost off your income, assuming you have no tenant and the mortgage to pay.

Won't it come down to the usual ... can you get a different deal that is cheaper overall after all fees have been taken into account? Bear in mind you've paid a £999 arrangement fee for your current mortgage.
