It's always worth asking at a local supplier for stuff they don't normally stock - if enough people ask for them they would usually start stocking them.
  • £3 Tesco for a 500g uncertain about qauntity but I would go to Waitrose as we have one to get this jolly good idea for Stocks wise.

If you eat lots of them then ask at your local wholesaler for them - you can find them in the book under poultry and game wholesalers. I buy chicken wings for the dogs as I feed them a raw diet and it works out at roughly 75p-85p a kilo, the only downside is you have to buy 20kilos at a time.

  • I agree that the Basics ones aren't that nice. I buy the essential Waitrose ones and they are nice, but the best ones I find are from the butchers - 30p each and they are huge!

    Hi

At my local farmers market the poultry stall sells them and they're the best I've had.

They look a little more expensive than the supermarket but they trim the wing tip off them so you get the two bits that have the most meat on so actually good value.

Do you have a market near you with a poultry stall ? You could ask them.
