can anyone help, have been trying for weeks now to find a chick hicks but to no avail, i have been going into any toysrus that is near whenever we go out or woolies or any toy shop that i know stocks them, but have not been succesful, why you can't put your name down so when they come into stock you have a chance beats me, this is my little boys favourite and out of all the diecast this is the one he wants, i have all but him and lizzie (he's not bothered about lizzie) i know there are more stores having stock but i think you have to be in the right place at the right time. i am refusing to pay silly money on ebay as i know as soon as i do i'll find one. if anyone can help i would REALLY REALLY appreciate it.

after many months of hunting i have no finally got all 16 diecasts for my twins, i have never found one in the uk in any of the shops i have looked in, even phoned all of john lewis's to get a store transfer but nothing, if you believe the american websites chick hicks and lizzie appear in one box out of four, but when i went into our woolies they had 12 boxes in the stock room which they kindly opened for me but could not find either, also said loads of people had been in asking for them but the staff said they had never seen the characters,

eventually after much annoyance i gave in and bought a set of about six cars from america, chick and lizzie being two of them, i paid about £2 a car plus another £8 for postage, i then returned four characters back to woolies that i already had bought for christmas, so in the end these cost me about £4 each

these seem to be loads cheaper in america so it might be worth hunting there

I am in the same position too, and i have also watched one finish on ebay for £27! However people who sell them on ebay must be getting them from this country as there was too many listed for them to get them from the US.

Anyway have you tried Asda? my local store sells the die cast, it might be worth a shot and also what about Boots? i managed to get Stanley and Red from there.

If you do manage to get one, can you let me know too!

found three in the disney store and no have some good xmas presents to give out, they had more aswell so worth checking

on another thread on the shop board someone found one in tescos, and someone else found another a different shop, they seem to be finally starting to come through

i gave up and purchased from ebay (an american seller) it was a 2 pack a chick hicks and a dirt track mcqueen (also not avail over here). whenever i have been past or near a woolies, toysrus, asda etc i allways check to see, but all they ever have are maters:mad: if only he had been my sons fav. in total it cost me £18.xx including postage from usa
