nice place for lunch in Limavady

I'm going to Limavady and it's an area I'm not familiar with at all. Is there somewhere nice to go for lunch? Not too expensive. Thanks.

There's lot of sandwich places around the town, the Classic does food but not sure of the price. There's a cafe next to the SuperValu - I personally think its overrated. THe services club does a good lunch but not everyone feels comfortable going in there.

There's also the coach inn at the golf course but I've heard mixed reviews about it lately.

    Hope you find somewhere!

    Hi
For some reason I am friends with the Classic Winebar in Limavady on facebook and their food sounds lovely!

Everyday they post their specials on facebook

    Today is:
    Chef's Lunchtime Specials for Monday:
    - Carrot & Ginger Soup
    - Chicken Tikka served with Rice & a Poppadom
    - Roast Leg of Lamb served with Dauphinoise Potatoes & Pan Jus
    - Stuffed Turkey & Ham served with Champ and Seasonal Vegetables
    - Roast Sirloin served with Colcannon Mash and a Sweet Onion Gravy

Seems to be £7 for these.

I've never been to Limavady before but if I ever found myself there, I would give this place a go!

On behalf of every small building firm and supplier that was ripped off and bankrupted by Taggart Homes I urge everyone not to give your business to Mr M Taggart the owner of above establishment:o

Try The Streat on Market Street or Prego just around the corner. Both cafes do reasonably priced good quality lunches.
