Please note: If the price on the shelf says 69p and even if they go through at £1.38 each with £1.26 multisave, you have been overcharged. Take the receipt to the CS desk and ask for a refund of the difference PLUS 2 x £2 giftcards in line with asda's overcharge policy. DON'T BE FOBBED OFF! The exact wording of the policy is on Asda's web site.
Edit: What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged or undercharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.

I think each product can be considered one type of product, not one item. So, if you are mischarged for 20 cans of pringles, it's still one product (pringles).0 -

It's a grey area but I believe we have one member who has a letter from Head Office stating it is per item, i.e. in your scenario it would be a £40 giftcard. Good luck getting it though, as it's normally a battle to get a £2 giftcard with this company.0 -
It seems that the old offer of 69p and the new offer 2 for £1.50 worked at the same time for a short period - not for me though.0
