Credit History?

Hi, new to the forum so sorry if its been covered.

I have plenty of history and I have always payed on time and in full on multiple Phone contracts and Credit cards and my loan for my car, even pay off the cards in full every month and the loan was payed off 1 year early.

the only thing I refused to pay was a mobile phone contract with 3 wich was miss sold to me. At no point in the phone conversation with the shop did they say I would be going with 3. Had they mentioned that I would not have gone any further, as far as I was aware it was staying with O2.

the shop wouldnt send the fone to my work address as I was in the Army and not posted near home where it was simpler to register the bank. I told them I wouldnt be home for 3 weeks which was over their cool off. they said it was not a problem.

Soon as I opened the parcel I called them saying I didnt want it but they refused to take it back and after paying 2 months of it while fighting them and even sending the fone back I simply refused to pay any further as 3 were totally unhelpful and not only that but I couldnt understand a thing the operators were saying.(Indian I think?) IN the end the shop dissapeard after a few month as I couldnt find them and they didnt answer any emails or fone calls.

in the end 3 canceled the contract completely and we settled by me paying the 2 months they were chasing me for.

I checked my credit report and it said it had been settled but was still down as deffered iirc and as so was making my history bad. I would like to know if it is possible to have this removed as both parties settled on it?

what do I need to do?

thanks

billy
