Transformers Toys Heavily Reduced in Sainsburys

Picked up a couple of the £12.99 Transformers Deluxe vehicles for £3 each in Sainsburys yesterday. I got Axor and Darkmount. Cannot find on the Sainsburys website but here is a link to 1 of them on Tesco. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-3528.aspx.

I think the reason for the reduction is that the packaging is changing so it is quite confusing as to which are reduced and which are still full price. 1 of mine obviously was the new version as it scanned as £12.99 but when I pointed out the SEL which quite clearly had the exact same description as the new version they honoured the sale price for both. DS will be very chuffed!

i managed to get one of these for my little boy mid week, got him the revenge of fallen leader optimus prime from £49.99 to £14.99, he is now safely tucked up in my loft with the other bargains havent been able to resist for xmas this year. i think you are right they are clearing them coz the new movie comes out in about a month so they will all be in movie no3 boxes.....but know what my little guy wont care and neither did my purse
