  • Hi sorry to take so long to reply, I lost my password and did not get emails to tell me i had replies. I have now discovered more - it was HOODLESS BRENNAN who missold my elderly father and tood all of his lifetime savings - it wasn't Hargreaves lansdowne (I will try to rectify this on the title). The period was 2006. In theletter he wrote to them he stated he was recommended to invest in numerous AIM listed stocks and shares ALL of which lost substantial amounts during a time when the stock market was booming.. The reply he received back from them states that "with hindsight a different course may have produced a better result however it does not prove negligence on their behalf, and there was no guarantee of success alsothat he was aware of the risks when he opened his account with them. Hoodless and Brennan are a shameful disgrace. Please warn your elderly relatives!

I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

Am I right that pension annuity/drawdown income is also "earned" income? .

    Not for pension contributions.
