i wear ballet pumps but just buy cheap ones from Primark as I find that the soles on the front wear really quickly when driving no matter how much I have paid for them0

Uggs? They make lovely shoes too:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Is it for walking or driving, you didn't say...
if you're walking you could get MBTs or the Reebok MBT copies, that way your walk would be doing you even more good.
Walking shoes, like the ones made by Merrell will last a lot longer than fashion shoes too, and be kinder to your feet.
If it's for driving then you shouldn't be going through boots at 4 pairs per season.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I know just what you mean!
I adore boots and leggings/skinny jeans and spend most of the Winter in them.
Its just too cold presently for my Fitflops or sandals. I have a pair of loafers which are Ok with the jeans but my feet are still cold.Put on socks and I age about 20 years!
I have good walking shoes Fitflops which are ok for that purpose alone. Certainly dont look great and can not be worn with either leggings or skinny jeans as they make my feet appear huge.
It is a dilema Op and I will be watching your thread for helpful replies!

I wear Toms, but similarly ballet pumps, plimsols or moccasskins (can't spell that!) would work.0

what about lace up brogues that are back in fashion at the moment - we saw some in Next the other week that had a decent sole on them ( compared to the ones we ended up buying for DD - the Next ones didn't fit her)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

How about clog style? I have some el naturalista ones, from RAW shoes. They have great styles, lots of colours, and are mega comfortable. Also they dont appear to wear out, they are really good quality leather.:)"If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.":DMiss Mona, The Best Little *****house in Texas0

How about Skechers? They do trainers (including shape ups) and pumps. I have three pairs now, including some for work, and they are the comfiest shoes I have ever owned. It takes me half an hour to walk to work so I do a fair bit of walking each day.
You can get them fairly cheap from Amazon and Sports Direct. One thing to be aware of though is they come up huge- unless you've got very wide feet you can definitely go a whole size down. I'm a size 6 but all my Skechers shoes are size 5.0 -
I would also suggest brogues or lace up flat ankle boots... I bought a really cute pair in New Look a couple of months back for work.0
