Hello, I am new to this site so sorry if I have posted in the wrong place!
Would be grateful for some advise as we are struggling to get what we are after as we are being open and honest!
Our situation is this; We have a UK property which we want to release some equity from, rent it out and change to a buy-to-let. In principle this sounds simple we had an application almost approved until we told them we were moving to Australia! The extra cash is to put a deposit down when we find a house in Oz!
We have since been to a large number of high street lenders and trailed the internet for any company who would entertain this idea with only a couple of shady possibilities.
My question is has anyone else been in this situation and if so what was the result or can anyone recommend a company.
Many thanks

Hi. I'm no expert, but on these boards I have heard suggestions of trying banks with international banking arms, such as HSBC.

In financial terms. What are you hoping to achieve?
If the property was vacant how would you cover the void periods?0
