SSP1 form

Hi,
Anyone help me as i am in a bit of a panic. Sent off my IB forms & got call from jobplus saying they cant go forward till i get the ssp1 form which should have been sent by my employer. i said i didnt get one & that they were still paying me till my retirement. He then lots of stuff (which as i was panicking didnt get!) So rang my ex workl & they said they will send one. Meanwhile jobp man rang again & aid that it was unlikely they paid me ssp cos i have a 52wk link ltr. Did i send it? No i said & my heart sank. No excuses cos it says in b/w to give it to your employer. Jobp said dont worry it'll sort itself out. But i am worried. i think i did get a ltr 3wks bk saying i was nearing the end of my pay & if i continued sick i would be on ssp, biut i cant find the damn letter. The jobp man said that sometimes the employers pay you ssp & make up the money it wouldnt necessarily say ssp. when the ssp1 comes to me will it actually say they have paid me ssp & if so do i pay wages bk? I just feel a bit less worry in my life & then something else happens. its my fault, no-one else's but if anyone can make me feel happier with some good news please do.

I got my SSP1 form 4 weeks before my SSP finished and submitted this with my IB claim.

My JC+ said it would take approx 4 weeks to process IB.
