Thanks bunking_off I understand and fully concur with your views and advice - I was intending to close down the OA once the mortgage is done with and until I posted my original ? I didn't realise how expensive the OA was. It has served me well up to now but I can see all the points made by the various responses. Have you thought about stoozing to realise some free credit card money and then letting it sit in your account. As long as you can get to it at anytime to repay the CC it is yours to do with as you wish.
Worth considering perhaps in the short term if you cannot close the OA without penalty.Still looking :search: for the next saving!
