Sebo X4 or X4 Extra ?

Hi
Just been away for the weekend and come back to find that my 2 17year old children have had a house party and pretty much trashed the house.
Anyway, they've also broken the vacuum cleaner (I didn't know they knew where it was kept) and I need to buy another one. I've been reading this site and review sites intensely and it seems that the Sebo X4 is the best one to buy. But should I be looking at buying the X4 or the X4 Extra? I really cannot find the difference, not even on the review sites. Sebo's own site just mentions the X4 extra and not the X4. Does anyone know which one would be the best buy.
I have a mixture of laminate and carpets on my floor and a very hairy dog who manages to loose hair all year round.
Thanks!
