I have had a temporary clubcard (paper one) for about 12 months. I had been extremley lazy and not registered it.

I registered it two weeks ago and they have now sent me a real card and it says I have no points?!

Im worried - damn i shouldnt be lazy....Thanks in advance

Still got the paper one handy... just call up and ask. Might have just neglected to transfer them across (real one probably has a different number to the temporary one...)
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.

    1) It's quite normal for the new plastic card to have a different no. to the paper temporary card - a way of telling them apart.

    2) It is normally an automatic process re: the points. To be pedantic - the points are not 'on' the card, the different cards are just means of sending points to your account.
However, if registration is delayed, the points may get trapped at the cut-off points for a mailing. That is it goes through the same sequence as a registered card, but no vouchers are created - no name or address to send them.

    3) When you stated - no points on the new card - have you used the card in-store? How many points on the receipt?

    4) Ring Clubcard if the points on your receipt only match the points from purchases since the cut-off point of the current mailing (7th May), to get your historic points reset.
