Free RaW comedy dvd from the BBC

You go through a short quiz, i did the World Cup quiz and got 7 out of 10 right but still got to fill in the form for my free dvd, so maybe you can get it regardless of the score. And there's different quiz topics too. :D

Received mine a couple months ago.....

Just in case you don't know 'RaW' stands for 'Reading and Writing'. The DVD is a kind of BBC educational, 'supposed to be fun' type of quiz thing using comedy clips. So you watch a clip and then are asked questions about the grammar used etc. You can't watch the clips without doing the quiz. The guy who presents it is really lame.

If it's the sort of thing you're after, then fine. Whereas, if you're thinking it's a dvd with loads of comedy clips that you can watch at your leisure, you might want to think again.

I obviously was taking the wrong quizzes!!
I tried loads of them and had no form!
Finally I tried a football one (can't stand football, but still got 6 right!! :rotfl: ) and got the form to fill in.

Try the apostrophe quizzes - both are dead easy.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • Agreed...the apostophe quiz 10/10! Waiting for DVD now

  • You can sometimes pick up things like this for free in public libraries. My local library had a RAW Eastenders DVD for a while.
