Courier Glass Table and Chairs

Hi, sorry if this is not the correct thread butI am hoping for some 'MSE' help
I have a glass table and four chairs I need collecting from Leeds/Bradford and am trying to locate the cheapest courier to Gloucestershire
Its is brand new and still packaged up as it came from the store, I asked the gentlman who I have bought it off to weigh the packages (5 in total) and he told me the weight was 14 stone!!! (about 83kg)
not sure if this is correct so am trying to contact him so he can 'check' the weight.
