although courts do often apply a more lenient sentence for the ill or old such as a suspended sentence, there are not that many crimes which have a mandatory prison sentence attached so often it is in the judgement ofthe judge
the thing with these cases is we often dont find out the final income, such as in this case now it has been proved then the IS will be trying to track down the proceeds and recover them perhaps from those friends and familyHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

That article did say the Judge took into account the person's advanced age, but still applied a jail sentence so it was presumably warranted by law. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

They were all small local businesses. I guess they don't routinely run credit checks.
Even when we were small (I mean going back to 3 employees and a minimal turnover), I was handing credit check forms to those that we were taking on (Artists got paid, then us originally, now it’s the other way around, as was for those that failed credit checking!), with many people thinking I was mad!
Nobody has defaulted on me yet, and I’m hoping to keep it this way!💙💛 💔0 -
This guy had £23k in cash and decided to vanish it after the petition had been issued against him. Ended up with 6 months and costs of £1k. Maybe he'll use some of the vanished money to pay the costs?
