We are going to see a lender tomorrow to formally apply for our mortgage, we have an AIP already.
Would they accept printed bank statements? We bank online and dont get statements through the post.
Thanks
Melanie

Some do. Some don't.
If they don't, order paper versions and take them in while the other checks are being done. They aren't needed on day one, if you can't get them until a few days later.I am a mortgage broker. P60 may be useful as is proof of your deposit. Some lenders may request that the copies you do eventually receive from your bank are verified in some way by the bank.
For anyone thinking of near future mortgage business then switch to get paper statements. This on-line 'eco' scheme will cost you time and money.

Interent ones are fine for AIP, but on full application the certified or originals are needed. Certification can be done by the bank (lloyds did mine in 6 hours, Natwest said NO) or your solicitor. Definitely order them ASAP, they are free when you bank paper free. I thought I was saving the world, but just made it harder for myself in my mortgage application!0

Melanie - which lender is it? We'll find out from the horse's mouth, instead of all the guess work.I am a mortgage broker. Nothing on their website and nothing on Trigold or Mortgage Brain, so I guess it's a phone call job. I'm out for the next hour or so, so if anyone feels generous it's 0800 169 6333.
