I have a jar of wholegain mustard in the fridge. I use it in various recipes but only about once a week. Is it ok to freeze into ice cubes to the equivalent of tbsp per ice cube? That way I can just pop out one or two depending on recipe as and when needed.

Why bother ?? My mustard jars stay in my cupboard for ages ...I have never kept it in the fridge and have never had a problem:oI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

I am sure you can freeze it if you want, but as Sarahlouise says 'why bother?'. Mustard doesn't really go off as it's full of vinegar. I don't refrigerate mine, and I've never had a problem;)0

I refrigerate mine, but we don't use a great deal and it lasts for months.0

I have had mustard go off.
It was disgusting - but to be honest I think it was a really old jar that had been sat half eaten in the fridge for about 3 years.
The 6 week limit is a bit silly though. It does last a lot longer than that."You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." - C.S. Lewis0
